Jim Cobb
Jim Cobb is a nationally recognized authority on disaster readiness and related topics. He’s the Editor in Chief for Backwoods Survival Guide magazine as well as the author of almost a dozen books, including Prepper’s Long-Term Survival Guide and The Urban Prepper’s Guide.
In addition, he’s contributed nearly 1,000 articles to a wide range of publications, including Recoil Offgrid, American Survival Guide, Survivor’s Edge, Boy’s Life, and Field & Stream.
Jim has been involved with emergency preparedness for about 40 years and has developed a reputation for having a rational, down-to-earth approach to the subject. He and his wife live in the upper Midwest.
