A mom of five, Millie lives with her husband and teenage son on a small Wyoming homestead, raising chickens and building a food forest. When she’s not writing, she enjoys hiking, trail running, camping, and spoiling her seven grandkids.

Millie spent years teaching and writing about homesteading, preparedness, traditional foods, and alternative health, publishing nine nonfiction books in the process. In 2019, she debuted the popular Havoc in Wyoming series and its spinoffs, with a new addition to the world set to drop in 2026.
